2011 New Compound Hunting Bows Part 2

Below is a review of many of the new Compound Bows for 2011. These are some awesome bows for this year. They have speed, great Looks, and are smooth shooting. We will carry many of the Diamond, PSE, Quest and others in our Online Archery Shop.

Bear Attack

The new Bear Attack delivers IBO speeds up to 340 fps with a 7 inch brace height and 31″ axle-to-axle length. This bow weighs in at 4.2 lbs and utilizes Bear’s E-Cam which is also adjustable without the need for a bow press.

New Breed Archery Genetix

New Breed Archery prides itself on the quality of their bows, which is clearly seen in the new Genetix. This bow features Barnsdale limbs, custom BCY 452x strings and cables, and the Bionix 2.0 cam system. The Genetix measures 33 inches from axle-to-axle, has a 7″ brace height, weighs 3.8 lbs and shoots up to 343 fps.

Strother SRX-1

New for 2011 the SRX-1 from Strother Archery is capable of producing speeds up to 347 fps with the patent-pending Hyper-S Cam System. The SRX-1 measures just over 34″ from axle-to-axle, weights 4.1 lbs, and has a brace height of 6 1/2″.

Strother Allure

This split-limb hunting bow designed specifically for female archers measures 33 5/8″from axle-to-axle, has a brace height of just over 6 inches and weighs in at 4 pounds even. The Allure produces speeds of up to 296 fps measured at 26″/60 lbs which is plenty fast to take down most big game animals.

Prime Centroid

One of this year’s hot new bows the Prime Centroid features an innovative new parallel cam system that virtually eliminates cam lean. With an IBO speed of 332 fps and axle-to-axle length of 34.25″ this unique bow is sure to have people talking all year long.

Quest Rev

The Quest Rev from G5 has the specs to make it a solid hunting bow for 2011. At just under 4 pounds the Rev launches arrows up to 324 fps thanks to the patent pending Twin Track SYNC Modular Cam system. The Rev measures 32″ axle to axle and has a 7 5/8″ brace height.

Parker Firestorm Package

For 2011 Parker has put together the most comprehensive bow package of all time. The Inferno bow package includes everything you need to hit the woods including a Montana Black Gold sight, Whicker Biscuit rest, Carbon Express arrows, Tru Fire broadheads, field points, quiver, wrist sling, stabilizer and peep sight. The entire kit comes with accessories installed and shipped in an SKB hard bow case.

Parker Blackhawk EZ Draw

The single-cam Blackhawk EZ Draw is extremely easy to draw and let down, which is feature that is becoming more and more popular with today’s aging archers. The Blackhawk produces speeds up to 290 fps, weighs just 3.85 lbs and measures 32″ from axle-to-axle.

PSE X-Force Omen Pro

PSE’s X-Force Omen Pro was designed for one thing – SPEED! With speeds up to 366 fps this is one of the fastest bows on the market today. The X-Force Omen Pro features PSE’s new Planar Flex Riser design and Centerlock Pocket system for superior accuracy. This bow is draw length specific available in 1/2 inch increments. The Omen Pro weights 4.35 lbs, has a 70% let-off, 5.5″ brace height, and 33 5/8″ axle-to-axle length.

PSE Dream Season EVO

New for 2011 the Dream Season EVO has the speed you’ve come to expect from PSE bows; 345 fps to be exact. This speedy hunting bow weighs in at a hefty 4.4 lbs, has a short 6″ brace height and 32.5″ axle-to-axle length.

PSE Axe 7

If the Dream Season EVO and Omen Pro are a bit too aggressive for you, the Axe 7 may be your bow. A forgiving 7″ brace height and 32.5″ axle-to-axle length produce very respectable speeds from 327 to 335 fps. The X-Force Axe 7 weighs in at 4.2 lbs and is adjustable from 26.5″ to 31″ draw length.

Alpine Jim Shockey Series Yukon

Endorsed by one of the world’s most successful big game hunters, the Jim Shockey Series Yukon is a well balanced hunting bow suitable for even the biggest trophies. Mission VXT

Winchester Quicksilver 34

Bursting onto the scene in 2011, Winchester’s flagship bow is the Quicksilver 34. This all-new bow packs plenty of power with speeds up to 343 fps coming from this 34″ axle-to-axle powerhouse with a 7″ brace height. Let-off is adjustable from 55-80%. At just 3.9 lbs the Quicksilver is sure to make a big splash this season.

Winchester Tracker

This new hunting bow is built for bowhunters on a budget who still demand bigtime performance. This 4 lb bow features Winchester’s ARC cam with patent pending two track technology that produces speeds up to 310 fps. The Tracker is available in draw lengths from 27 to 30 inches in 50-60-70 pounds draw weights.
