Big Buck Outdoor Games Turkey Hunt

Last year my brother Mark Stephens and I were invited to attend the Big Buck Games on the Big Buck Properties farm in Kentucky.  This event supports current active duty soliders and retired soliders wounded in service.  This was one of the most gratifying experiences I have had in a number of years.  This was a way for give back to the men and women of our armed forces.  Them team who puts this event together takes this very seriously and does a outstanding job.

We were invited by Spook Spann to be part of his team over the three day event.  On our team included my brother Mark Stephens, retired Master Sargent Army Special Forces, Dave Stewart (Tennessee Titans), myself and Spook Spann.  During the two day turkey hunt our team was able to pull off the win with all the team members shooting birds.  To cap it off I was fortanute to shoot the largest bird of the hunt and push the Stick’em Archery team to 1st Place (see birds spurs below).

Not only was it a great hunt for me but to spend some time with my brother and see him shoot his first bird was awesome.  We do not get a lot of opportunties to spend time together based on our schedules.  While there are a lot of events that salute our armed forces this is a very special one for me to salute my brother with all he has accomplished in the military and to hunt together.  If you are interested in learning more about the Big Buck Games held in Kentucky at the Big Buck Properties visit www.spookspann.com or BigBickProperties.com.
